i was inspired by my previous post about how oprah prayed to God telling Him to take away her burden by surrendering all to Him.

I was reading a book on the "The Dream Giver" and in it, it asked if I was willing to give up my dreams and give it to the Giver. Am i willing to take the risk and give back my dreams to the Giver?

Might sound easy to be able to give dreams back but when the time comes are we willing to take that step? to trust or not to trust? what if you gave the Giver your dream and He decided to throw it into the chute?

the song which oprah sang said to surrender it ALL(including dreams). not 10%, not 55% nor 99.9999999 (!!!)%. but 100%.

when times are good, surrendering it to High aint on my agenda. when times are bad, it seems that it is first on my things-to-do list. or is it? upon further consideration, i find that i tend to ''want to surrender it when things get REALLY OUT OF HAND''. meaning, seeking DIVINE INTERVENTION at the very last moment.

shouldn't it be seeking the Face of God at the very first moment? why am i seeking for His hand when things do not go my way?

taking things for granted i suppose? maybe. perhaps. (duh! grace, isnt that what you're doing?)

so, perhaps its time to pray once again for His grace and teach me how to surrender it ALL.

(sigh.. when will i ever learn?)
