good morning citizens of singapore! (huh?)
yah its a glorious morning today. i'm listening to my newly chinese added songs on itunes. my itunes was getting rusty so with a bit of help from msn, i managed to get 44 new Chinese songs. cool.
apocalypto is a cool movie. mel gibson did it again. its full of blood and gore but really cool. full of killing and ripping off of hearts (WOW!). im glad i wasn't born in that mayan era. throughout the show, zhi yang(a new found friend) and i were commenting on it. we even sneaked in kfc meals into the theater but it was kinda of a turn off when i was eating chicken while i saw people getting killed and their heads roll. its like eating a hamburger while watching a cow getting killed. ok. i couldnt help but to cover my eyes at some parts of the show.
there was one scene where the city people were gathered around and they were rising their hands cheering (zhiyang:hey that looks like chc while singing praise! LOL) while heads were being thrown down like soccer balls and bodies fly like lifeless dummies. the priest plunges the damn knife into the frightened humans like killing chickens. the best part was when the main character tries to run away from his captors. really cool.
i'll give it 4 stars. really worth my 7 bucks.
next stop was kovan to meet dear bao ya tgt with zhi yang at our teochew porriage stall. this time we didn't find a 'nostril hair' but found a 'cockroach leg' in the porriage. ok, we just made them up cuz the last time we found a short piece of i don't know what it was and so we called it 'nostril hair' from the seller. ytd bao ya said it was 'cockroach leg' from somewhere.
on the way home baoya pointed out to me his poster at the busstop. (popular eh?) too bad i didnt have a good look cuz i was on the oppsite side of the road. he said his mouth/teeth looks weird cuz of the photoshop. they erased his braces lol. oh well.. what matters most is that we have a very popular friend with his poster all over sg to promote SP and his slogan is ''cuz i aim to fly high''...
